Coming in to the game St. Louis was looking for a statement game that would hopefully snap the blues out of their early season fog. They accomplished this with a dominating win over the Leafs. Not only did the offense shine, but Jake Allen and the defense kept the likes of Austin Matthews and John Taveras off of the scoreboard. The Blues took a 3-0 lead in to the third period and held on for a 4-1 win. The Blues were lead by new comer Ryan O'Reilly and David Perron. Perron had two assist on the night. While O'Reilly had a goal and an assist.
You'll hear about all of this and much more on this episode of The Drop!
