Smashville proves to be a tough place to play for the Blues.
On this episode of The Drop, the St. Louis Blues took momentum into Nashville, but not much else as they dropped Game 3, 3-1. Ryan Ellis and Cody McLeod put the Nashville Predators on top 2-0, but Alex Steen cut the lead in half at the 12:59 mark of the second period, 2-1. The Blues appeared to regain some steam early in the third period, but a long shift left many of the Blues out of gas and Roman Josi took advantage as he fired a slapshot past Jake Allen to make the score 3-1 with just 5:49 remaining. The series resumes Tuesday night in Nashville with the Predators leading the series, 2-1. Join us for this playoff edition of The Drop!
